Food Safety Committee

As per guidelines of AICTE/GTU, the college has constituted Food Safety Committee cell with the following faculty as members:-

The Cell will function to in following context:

1. Clean – Wash Hands Often.
2. Committee will verify food quality at college canteen occasionally.
3. SEPARATE – Keep Ready-to-Eat Foods Separate from Raw Meat Poultry, Seafood and Eggs.

1. Prevent cross-contamination by keeping raw meat, poultry, seafood and eggs separate from ready-to-eat foods.
2. Use two cuttings boards: one strictly for raw meat, poultry and seafood; the other for ready-to-eat foods like breads and vegetables.
3. Wash cutting boards thoroughly in hot soapy water after each use or place in dishwasher. Use a bleach solution (i.e. one tablespoon bleach in one quart water) or other sanitizing solution and rinse with clean water.
4. Keep a refrigerator thermometer in your refrigerator and check it regularly.

Appointment of Student Counsellor

In order to resolve day to day academic problems of the students, mentors   are appointed for a batch of 20 students, and they will counsel the respective students once in a week, to solve the problems come across during their course of study.

The objectives of the practice followed by the Institute are:

• To monitor the students regularity & discipline
• To enable the parents to know about the performance & regularity of their wards.
• Improvement of teacher-student relationship
• Counselling students for solving their problems and provide confidence to improve their quality of life.
• Guiding students to choose right career path for job, higher studies, Entrepreneurship, etc.

Formation of committee for National Academic Depository (NAD)

As per guidelines of AICTE/GTU, the College has constituted National Academic Depository (NAD) Cell with the following faculty as members and have been deputed for the proposed Prime college of Diploma.

The Cell will function in following context:

1. To provide guidance for its proper functioning of NAD.
2. To prescribe system required for the commencement of operations fulfilling requirements which shall include infrastructure requirements, hardware and software designs.
3. To oversee the implementation of the NAD initiative among staff/student community.

Formation of committee for Unnat Bharat Abhiyan

As per guidelines of AICTE/GTU, the College has constituted Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell with the following faculty as members and have been deputed for the proposed Prime college of Diploma.

The Cell will function in following context:

1. The network of available units in the Institute and also try to collaborate with various stakeholders.

1. Will discuss smart objectives for more rural immersion and public engineering projects.
2. Will request all faculty members to make sure that at least 50 percent of all third and final year projects should focus on rural development involving technology.
3. Will focus on few of these Education, Energy, Entrepreneurship, Evaluation, and Empowerment.

As per guidelines of AICTE/GTU, the College has constituted MOOCS Cell with the following faculty as members have been deputed for the proposed Prime college of Diploma.

They are assigned a work to set up a platform for MOOCS based learning in the institute and they are informed to conduct regular MOOCS Sessions/activities and submit the report to the management.

Formation of SC/ST committee

As per guidelines of AICTE/GTU, the College has constituted SC/ST/OBC Cell with the following faculty as members.

The Cell will take care of SC/ST/OBC students with respect to

(a)    Scholarships – their distribution to the beneficiaries on time,

(b)   Solve any problems occurred during their educational career

(c)   Making arrangements for sending statistical information required by University/Government authorities,

(d)   Any issues relating to discrimination experienced by the students in the College.

Students, especially belonging to SC/ST/OBC, if they have any issues on the above, may register their complaint to above committee members.

The above Cell will meet once in a semester and review all the complaints received and take/suggest remedial measures.

All concerned officials of the Institute, members of Anti-ragging committees & Anti-ragging squads are hereby requested to adhere to the stipulations and effectively monitor and comply with the provisions made in the directives of the Supreme Court of India dated May 16, 2007 in SLP No (s) 24295 of 2006.

Formation of Grievance Redressal Committee of the institute

The Grievance Redressal Committee is constituted to look after the grievances put forward by the students and staff. It focuses on setting proper facilitation procedures for settling the issues in a cordial atmosphere. The committee is expected to initiate appropriate enquiry or investigative mechanism within 24 hours from the receipt of the complaint in written form duly signed by complainant(s). The Grievance Redressal committee has been constituted comprising of Director of the institute as a Chairman of the committee, one senior Professor of the institute and one management nominee as members.

APPOINTMENT OF OMBUDSMAN

In order to comply with the AICTE Regulation for addressing, student or Parent’s grievance in a PRIME INSTITUTE OF ENGG. & TECH. has appointed Shri Murlidhar Mina as an Ombudsman.

INDUSTRY INSTITUTE INTERACTION CELL

The sole objective of this cell is to cultivate symbiotic relationship between college and industry as well as college and other research institutes. Since inception, the college has developed excellent relationship with industry through which the college will be able to achieve many of its objectives such as placements, research, consultancy etc. Strong industry linkages will help the college to bring better placements, summer internships and opportunities to our students for industry visits. Routinely, many industry professionals conduct guest lectures thus providing students with practical aspects of the concepts that they learn in their classrooms.

Objectives of the III Cell

1. To cultivate symbiotic relationship between college and industry as well as college and other research institutes.
2. To help industries to solve their problems through research, training and consultancy.
3. To provide ample opportunities for industry exposure to students and faculty through industry visits, summer internship and industry projects.
4. To involve industry professionals in curriculum design, delivery and assessment so as to make students industry ready.
5. To help industry professionals to upgrade their qualification, knowledge and skill through higher education, continuing education and training.

COMMITTEE

Formation of Internal Complaint Committee (ICC)/Women Cell

In order to maintain safety and security to the girls and women, a cell has been constituted for redressal of grievances. If the Women Employees and Students face any harassment from the staff or workers, then they can complain at our women grievance cell. The members will look into the issues, gather the evidence, and take the necessary action against the guilty.(All India Council for Technical Education Regulations,2016).

As per guidelines of GTU, the College has constituted Innovation /UDISHA CLUB with the following faculty as members to develop a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.

The Club will function in following context:

-Coordinate all efforts of social initiatives by students, departments and college.

-Coordinate efforts related cultural creativity and community driven initiatives.

Also efforts like NSS, NCC and similar endeavours can be done.

Coordinate efforts in Rural and other similar efforts beyond regular technical education,

Club members must meet at least twice in a month.

Waste Management for sustainable Green Campus.

As per guidelines of GTU, the College has constituted Waste Management committee with the following faculty as members to maintain a sustainable Green Campus.

The main objectives for these initiatives were environmental awareness and education, the use of sustainable energy and energy efficient measures, comprehensive recycling and composting and green landscaping in the campus.
